This page provides an overview of the prices for my web, email and word services.

Websites

Typical starting prices for small websites in Australia range from $1000-$1500, with prices climbing from there depending on required functionality and design.

I offer a range of options that can be mixed and matched to suit clients’ needs, starting with a very simple website package. Prices that cannot be predicted in advance are charged at an hourly rate of $40 per hour.

• Basic starter package: $800

This simple option is a great way to acquire a high-quality website at a very low cost. It includes the following features:

  • a simple, attractive design (up to two revisions)
  • text and images to suit your business or product*
  • up to ten pages
  • a contact form.

* This assumes that text is supplied ‘ready to go’ and allows up to 10 images supplied by the client.

• Additions and modifications

The basic package detailed above can be expanded and modified in many ways, such as these:

  • further design revisions (hourly rate)
  • additional pages ($10/page)
  • additional image preparation and/or acquisition (hourly rate)
  • copyediting and/or copywriting (hourly rate)
  • custom image gallery ($50)
  • drop-down menu (hourly rate)
  • JavaScript enhancements—such as accordions, carousels, galleries (hourly rate)
  • graphics—such as logo, diagrams (hourly rate)
  • simple content management—for adding and updating content (starting at $250)
  • advanced content management—for medium-sized business (starting $2500)
  • 3rd party shopping cart (hourly rate for setup; service provider will most likely also charge fees)
  • blog (hourly rate)
  • complex forms (hourly rate)
  • optimized display for handheld and print devices (hourly rate).

• Domain Names

Domain names are offered to website clients at wholesale prices, meaning that you are not likely to find any better prices anywhere. Domain name prices start at $11 per year.

• Web Hosting

Quality web hosting is also available to website clients. Websites are hosted on a secure, private server, and are thus protected from bad neighbors and enjoy ample bandwidth and server resources.

Prices start at $60 per year. This $60 includes:

  • 3 email addresses
  • a control panel
  • visitor statistics
  • email forwarding
  • webmail.

Optional extras include:

  • additional email addresses ($10 each per year)
  • spam filtering ($60 per year).

Email Campaigns

There are two aspects to email campaign pricing—firstly the design & coding of the layout, and secondly the cost of sending the campaign.

If one of my standard templates suits your needs, the standard price for adding your text and images is $100. If you require a custom layout, I will provide a quote for the layout, which usually ranges from $150–$300.

The price for sending the campaign depends on the number of recipients, incorporating a flat fee of $6 and approximately 1.5¢ per email.

Word Services

All word services by Page Affairs are charged by the hour, normally at a rate of $30–$40 per hour, depending on the nature of the work. A quote is provided for the estimated time required to complete the work.
